Dale R. Czajka

Dale R. Czajka, age 62, passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at the Toledo Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Dale had been in ill health since losing his wife of 37 years, Sandy in 2006. He was born on November 9, 1950 to Richard and Delores (Poturalski) Czajka in Toledo. Dale had been a tool and die maker and in research and development for many years, retiring in 2009 from Libbey Glass as a Supervisor. He enjoyed many hobbies throughout his life, including hunting, bowling and golf. Dale will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Dale is survived by his son, Brian; daughter, Shelley (Jeff) Venable; grandchildren, Katlyn and Ryan Venable and Madeline Czajka; and sister, Lynette Wolf. He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family will receive guests on Friday from 3 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
