Dale H. Barton, 83, passed away on February 20, 2012. He was born on January 29, 1929 to the late Homer and Ruth Barton.
Dale retired from LOF-Pilkington after 39 years of service. He coached Little League for Navarre School for many years. Dale's love of baseball was only surpassed by the love he had for his family; he especially adored his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Dale was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Vida; son, David; brothers, Amos, James and John "Ray." Left to cherish his memory is his son, Mark (Kelly) Barton; grandchildren, Kaitlin, Lindsey, Tyler and Wendy Barton; nieces and nephews, Tim, Scott, Cheryl, Pam, Ellen and Robin.
The family will receive guests on Friday from 2-7:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). A funeral service will begin at 7:00 p.m. Pastor Larry Michaels officiating.
