Dale W. Clark, Sr., of Toledo, formerly of Westerville, passed away peacefully, Thursday, July 26, 2007 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 4, 1941 to Samuel K. and Eva B. (Brock) Clark in Toledo. Dale was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during the Korean War and a member of the Air National Guard Reserves for many years. He worked as a cardiopulmonary technician for numerous years with various hospitals, including the Toledo Hospital and Flower Hospital. He was a member of Quest Community Church, of New Albany, OH before moving back to Toledo. Dale was very social and loved meeting new people. He always looked forward to getting together with family and friends. Dale will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 46 years, Janice J. Clark in September of 2006, brother Ralph Clark and 3 nephews. Dale is survived by his loving family, children: Gale (Mike) Lacey and Dale (Jean Hashim) Clark, Jr.; granddaughter: Cassie Clark; siblings: Mary (Russell) Chaney and Bill (Bea) Clark; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
The family will receive guests on Tuesday, July 31, 2007 at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) from 2 – 8:00 p.m. and again on Wednesday from 10 – 11:00 a.m. with Funeral Services beginning at 11:00 a.m. Officiating will be Rev. Warren Hilderbrand. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
