Dacoda James Hetherington

DaCoda J. Hetherington, age 19, of Sylvania, passed away unexpectedly due to injuries sustained from an auto accident. He was born December 5, 1992 to James C. Hetherington and Sandy L. Steger in Toledo. DaCoda was a graduate of Rock Hill High, Class of 2011 with Honors. in Rock Hill, South Carolina. He recently worked at Precision Steel as a saw operator and was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fanatic. In his spare time he enjoyed spending time outdoors and fishing. For his age DaCoda often assumed responsibilities of a grown man making him wise beyond his years. His family will dearly miss him and his endearing personality.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents; step-mom, Kim Hetherington; sister, Caitlin Williamson; brother, Garett Hetherington; step-brother, Michael Ward; girlfriend, Thea Oliver; grandparents, Joann Hetherington and Judy (Jim) Hayes; several loving and supportive aunts, uncles and a host of special friends. Preceding him in death was his grandfather, John Hetherington, Sr.

The family will receive guests on Friday from 2 – 5:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300) with Funeral Services beginning at 5:00 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
