Cynthia A. Owens, age 59, of Toledo, OH, passed away May 12, 2022 at University of Toledo Medical Center. Cynthia was born March 9, 1963 in Adrian, MI, to Gilbert Atkinson and Teresa Baggett. She worked numerous jobs including a long residency at Toledo Edison, Champion cleaners, El Tipico, and the latest being her bartending at The Recovery Room.
Cynthia is survived by her daughter, Tatiana Owens; mother, Teresa Baggett; brothers, Gilbert Atkinson, Jr., Allen (Erin) Atkinson, Mark (Jennifer) Eric, Herbey Atkinson, Michael Atkinson, Eduardo Atkinson and Eric Atkinson; sister, Michelle (Ismael) Atkinson-Ali; step-children, Gregory (Shalynne) Owens, Jr., Marisha Owens, Craig Owens, and Nicholas (Janay) Owens; grandchildren, Aiden, Jayden, and Asher; and a host of nieces, nephews, and loved ones.
The family will receive guest for the Memorial Service on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, & Receptions-Southwest Chapel (419-381-1900).
