Cynthia O. Varner

Cynthia O. Varner, age 74, of Toledo, passed away Thursday, October 25, 2012 at Ebeid Hospice Residence. She was born on November 13, 1937 to Robert and Onalee (Wiley) Simmons in Toledo. Cynthia was a longtime member of Mayfair Plymouth Church. She was very crafty and enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Cynthia loved children and was a warm, loving, patient, accepting person. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of almost 52 years, Ron Varner. Cynthia is survived by her loving children, Scott, Doug and Julie Varner; sister, Lorna (Tom) Hulsebus; and brothers, Bob (Fran) and Larry (Marlene) Simmons.

The family will receive guests on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at Mayfair Plymouth Church, 5253 Bennett Rd. with Funeral Services beginning at 1:30 p.m. in the church. Interment will follow in Historic Woodlawn Cemetery.
