Crystal Damita Shelton

Crystal Damita Shelton, born November 23, 1963, of Toledo, Ohio, was called home on September 15, 2021.

Crystal attended Libbey High School and studied cosmetology, but her passion was in cleaning. She longed to own her own cleaning company one day. She leaves a huge hole in the hearts of family and friends who were always entertained by her stories and hilarious sense of humor. She truly brought the life of the party.

Crystal was proceeded in death by her father, Leo Darrington and mother, Johnnie Mae Gulley.

She leaves behind to cherish her great memory are two daughters, Stardara Shelton and Diamond Shelton; three grandchildren, Emmanuel Sanchez, Shiloh Sanchez, and Joy Shelton; two sisters, Sheryl Shelton and Angie (John) Savage; nieces, LaToya Shelton, Jasmine Boyd; nephews, Damon Boyd, Terrance (Keith) Grand, and Sean Grant; and a host of cousins and relatives.

Family and friends may visit at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo, Ohio 43614, on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm, where her memorial service will take place at 12:00 pm.
