Criselda Espinoza, age 68, passed away on February 9, 2018. She was born on May 8, 1949 in Raymondville, Texas to the late Manuel Sr. and Eulalia.
Criselda received her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Findlay. She passionately taught French and Spanish for over 30 years. She was a devout Catholic her entire life and also took great pride in her Hispanic heritage. She was an avid reader and proud Ohio State Buckeye fan. Criselda was a self-less and loving mother who always put her family first.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Sara, Jeff (Ndaneh) and Guy Carr; sisters, Hortencia (Jose) Torres, Josephina (Joe) Duran, Horlalia (Santiago) Bejarano, Anita Booker; brothers, Manuel (Ginny) Jr., Francisco (Shirley); grandchildren, Robert, Olivia and Sophia; a host of nieces and nephews, notably Kristina Laslo; father of her children, Rob Carr; dear friends, Monni and Margaret. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Ignacio, Florencio, Manuel II and Juan; sisters, Manuela Espinoza and twins Rosita and Margarita.
The family will receive guests on Saturday, February 17, 2018 from 2-3:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). The Memorial Service will begin at 3:00 p.m.
