Constantin A. Olligschlager, age 86, a longtime resident of Temperance, Michigan, passed away, Thursday, July 19, 2007 in Toledo Hospital. He was born December 3, 1920 to Anton and Katarina (Frohn) Olligschlager in Liblar, Germany. Constantin was employed with AP Parts for more than 30 years. He was a former member of the German American Turners. Constantin enjoyed woodworking, watching soccer, reading spy novels and most importantly spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Rainer C. Olligschlager; brother-in-law, Heinrich Thomas and mother-in-law, Gertrude Thomas. Constantin is survived by his loving wife of almost 64 years, Gertrude M. (Thomas) Olligschlager; son, Hans (Ann) Olligschlager; daughter-in-law, Kathleen Olligschlager; daughter, Karen (John) Kleeberger; 11 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Elizabeth (Karl) Kortgoede and Geraldine Thomas and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive guests Monday from 2-8:00 p.m. in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Rev. Jerry S. Craig. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
