Constance Scheid

Constance E. "Connie" Scheid, age 79, of The Villages, FL, formerly of Toledo, passed away peacefully Thursday, February 14, 2008 surrounded by loving family. She was born on December 26, 1928 to Alfred and Cecilia (Nusbaum) Cousino in Toledo. Connie was a graduate of Central Catholic High School, with honors, and of The University of Toledo with honors, earning her teaching degree. She also attended The Ohio State University. Connie was a member of the Ohio 3-C's Club and the Ohio Club in Florida. She loved to cook and was an avid golfer. Connie was a very strong, loving, dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sister and dear friend. She loved nothing more than spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Cousino. Connie is survived by her loving husband of almost 60 years, R. Louis Scheid; children: Gregory (Debra) Scheid and Leslie (Erik) Sprogis, D.D.S; grandchildren: Christopher (Angie), Jason (Maria), Erika, Brandon (Alexis), Kendra and Kylie; great-grandchildren: Morgan, Patrick, Cassandra and Shannon; brother: Al (Elouise) Cousino; many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of dear friends.

A Memorial Service to honor Connie's memory will take place on Saturday May 24, 2008 at 11:00 AM at St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
