Constance Ann "Connie" Krum (Rower), age 81, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, February 4, 2017. She was born on March 23, 1935 in Springfield, Ohio.
Connie graduated from Woodward High School where she was a cheerleader and met her high school sweetheart, the late William "Bill" W. Krum. They were married June 27, 1953 and were married 36 years.
Connie is survived by her 4 children, Debbie (Reggie) Streicher, Doug (Lynn) Krum, Judie (Gary) Mowery and Jackie (Aaron) Frisch and a legacy of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Jack and Ken Rower.
At the age of 30 she professed her faith in Jesus Christ and joined Calvary Bible Chapel where she loved and served in many ministries for 50 years. Connie retired from the Toledo Board of Education after 25 years of serving lunch to children at Longfellow School.
Because of her generous heart, fun-to-be-with personality and Godly example; her influence will forever remain in the lives and hearts of all who knew her. She is known for living life in accordance with her favorite scripture, "I can do all things through Christ who gives my strength" – Phil 4:13.
The family will receive guests from 2-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). The Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday.
Memorials may be given to Bridge Hospice.
