Constance Hayes, age 92, passed away on February 12, 2015. She was born on April 1, 1922 in Blockswitch, England to the late Rebecca (Lloyd) and Thomas Smith.
Constance retired from Ohio Bell in 1983 after 40 years of dedicated service. She volunteered at the gift shop at MCO and at her church. Constance also enjoyed flower gardening.
In addition to her parents, Constance was preceded in death by her husband, Farland Lloyd Hayes and brother, Norman Smith. Left to cherish her memory is her son, Lloyd "Tom" Hayes; sister, Mary (Edward) Osnowitz; granddaughter, Stephanie Hayes.
The family will receive guests on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). The Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday. Burial will take place at Toledo Memorial Park.
