Constance (Connie) L. Anderson

April 25, 1933 — November 8, 2024

Sylvania, Ohio

Constance (Connie) Louise Anderson, age 91, of Sylvania, Ohio, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her family on November 8, 2024. She was born on April 25, 1933, in Swanton, Ohio, to the late Harold and Gertrude (Deeds) Miller.

Connie was a proud graduate of Notre Dame Academy in Toledo, Ohio, a foundational experience that shaped her character and values. Constance dedicated twenty years of her life to her career as an assistant contract administrator at Jeep, where her hard work and commitment were deeply valued.

Connie was a strong woman of faith in Jesus Christ. She knew her Bible and prayed daily for her loved ones and her friends. She loved to have discussions of Bible history and how it applies to events happening today.

A woman of simple pleasures, Connie found joy in the smallest things. She had a particular fondness for computers. She enjoyed playing games with her grandchildren on her computer. She even hooked up her computer to her television so she could do her banking, play games and read her emails from the comfort of her sofa. Playing cards was one of her favorite pastimes; evenings spent around the table engaging in spirited card and poker games became treasured family rituals. Connie loved to travel and create memories with her children, vacationing in beautiful destinations like Florida, Punta Cana, Hawaii, and California. These family trips were filled with laughter, adventure, and the kind of bonding that only comes from shared experiences. Each journey together was a testament to her love for her family and her dedication to creating lasting memories.

We remember a woman who loved Jesus and filled our lives with warmth, kindness, and unforgettable moments. Her sweet spirit will continue to guide us and remind us of the importance of love and family. Connie's presence was a gentle reminder of the simple joys in life, and her sweet demeanor endeared her to everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Those left to forever cherish her memory are her loving children, Beverly (Larry) Miller, Cathy (John) Smith, Stephen (Lauren) Anderson, Leigh Ann (Mark) Oberski, and Robert (Julie) Anderson; daughter-in-law, Sherry Anderson, special niece, Dorothy Anderson, twenty-two grandchildren, forty great grandchildren, special cousin, Rita Dohoney and much loved nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Constance was preceded in death by her husband, Newton Anderson, whom she married on May 9, 1954; and son, Ronald Anderson.
