Conrad D. Pfisterer, age 70, of Toledo, passed away peacefully in his sleep Sunday, October 31, 2021 at home. He was born on September 28, 1951 to Alvin and Edna (Leonard) Pfisterer in Toledo, OH. Conrad graduated in 1970 from Woodward High School where he played the trumpet and trombone in the marching band. Conrad worked at Jeep for over 30 years before finally retiring in 2006. He was a proud member of the Zenobia Shriners and lifetime member of The Grand Lodge of the Free and Accepted Masons, Paragon Lodge 788. Conrad was a die-hard fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes. He was an avid gardener, enjoyed fishing, loved classic cars as well as listening to jazz and country music. He was always feeding the backyard birds and squirrels and enjoyed watching them. Conrad took pride in his yard and landscaping. Most importantly to him was his family and friends. Conrad looked forward to any time spent with them whether it be a backyard cookout, or a night cap at the Mayflower. His smile, spirit, sense of humor and caring nature will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Alan Pfisterer. Conrad is survived by his siblings, Ron Pfisterer and Beverly (Michael) Schell; step-daughter, Melissa (David) Wallace; grandchildren, Raymond, Taylor, Sydni, and Carter; great-granddaughters, Jaide and Jasmine; nieces and nephews, Nicholas (Jennifer) Schell, Jason Schell, Andrew Pfisterer, Alexandra (Devin) Boyer, and Angelina Pfisterer; great-nephews and great-niece, Jayden, Mason, Austin and Aubree; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
The family will receive guests on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home – Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) with Funeral Services beginning at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Entombment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
