Connie Slaughterbeck

Connie Slaughterbeck (Emline), passed away suddenly on Sunday, June 1st, her 62nd birthday. Born to Alma and Leonard Emline on June 1, 1952. She was married to William Slaughterbeck, Sr. in September of 1978. He preceded her in death.
Connie worked for LaSalle's downtown and Westgate Shopping Center as a Sales Clerk/Buyer for a number of years. She also worked at the Perrysburg Bob Evans as a Hostess. Connie is a 1971 graduate of Libbey High School.
Connie was preceded in death by her husband, her parents; daughter, Cynthia; uncles and aunts, Paul and Virginia Robb and Glen and Marge Sauer. She is survived by her brother, David (Luana) Emline of Toledo; cousins, Clifford Ott of Toledo, Susan (Bill) King of Maumee and Karen (Paul) Hannon of Florida.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at Zion Lutheran Church, 3360 Nebraska Ave. with Pastor Steve Schmeling officiating. Family and friends may visit from 10-11:00 a.m. at church prior to the service. Burial will follow at Forest Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be given to Zion Lutheran Church or the American Heart Association.
