Colleen Drenner, age 71, of Toledo, OH, passed away Sunday, November 22, 2020 while a resident of Lakes of Sylvania, under the care of Hospice of Northwest Ohio. She was born in Portland, Oregon on September 7, 1949 to the late Philip Lininger and Patricia West.
When she was younger, Colleen entered the workforce in retail at LaSalle's Department Store. She later went to work at Seaway Carpet, before eventually entering her sales career at Dixie Crystals, Venice Maid Foods and Entertainment Book before retiring at the age of 65. Colleen was an avid sports fan of whatever teams her sons' and grandchildren were members of. She loved to babysit her grandchildren and grand-pets any chance she got, and attended their events as well.
Left to cherish Colleen's memory are her sons, Troy (Jean) Drenner and Dan (Dena) Drenner; grandchildren, Rachael (Derrick Johnson) Drenner, Taylor (Dan Falsetta) Drenner and Dylan Drenner; great-granddaughter, Elowyn Falsetta; siblings, Mary Pat, Pam, Richard and Todd; many nieces, nephews and numerous close friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dan Drenner; and daughter, Christie Drenner.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation or the American SIDS Institute.
Due to the present circumstances a Celebration of Life for Colleen will be held at a later date.
