Coleen Filipovich

Coleen Filipovich, age 61, of Toledo, passed away peacefully, Monday, January 12, 2009 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 14, 1947 to Hugh and Rosetta (Rutherford) Lovett in Jellico, Tennessee. Coleen worked for many years at International Diamond. She enjoyed crocheting and was an avid bingo player and volunteer at the Yorkshire Bingo Hall. Coleen loved nothing more than spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her son, Ronald James Filipovich and her brother, Joe Lovett. Coleen is survived by her loving daughters, Jamie (Brian) Snyder and Julie Sengstock; grandchildren, Brianna, Scott, Ronald and Donna; mother, Rosetta Lovett; brother, Ryland Lovett; and many other family members and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Wednesday from 2 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
