Cody Brian Champion

Cody Brian Champion, age 18, of Lambertville, Michigan, passed away Monday, August 20, 2007 in his home. Cody was born July 8, 1989 in Monroe Michigan. He attended ISD for 15 years. Cody also enjoyed watching sports on television. He had many special needs and his family lived their lives caring for and loving him with every fiber of their being. But now Cody is free of his physical and mental challenges and is in the care of the Lord.

Cody is survived by his loving parents, Sue and Chuck Champion, of Lambertville, MI; siblings, Carla (Shorty) Crosgrove of Delaware, OH; Cleet (Jodi) Champion of Toledo, OH; Cristi (Nick) Smith of Grand Rapids, MI; Cara Champion of Lambertville, MI; Crystal Champion of Toledo, OH and Cory and Cayla Champion, both of Lambertville, MI.

The family will receive guests Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. at Crossroads Community Church, 6960 Sylvania Petersburg Rd., Ottawa Lake, Michigan. A Memorial Celebration will begin at 7:00 p.m. Officiating will be Pastor Mark Cryderman.
