Cloyd L. Mills, age 99, of Toledo, passed away Monday, February 26, 2007 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. He was born on December 9, 1907 to Cloyd and Agnes Mills in Toledo. Cloyd was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles #197, the Bowman Dance Club and belonged to the Rock & Gem Club for many years. He loved to dance, liked the outdoors and had a love for animals. Cloyd's proudest achievement was working part-time for 30 years, for the Toledo Museum of Art, as the oldest guard.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Norma Voden, Leola and Irma Mills and brother, Glen Mills. Cloyd is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Bernice D. Mills; son: Gary Mills; daughter: Lynne (Richard) Rawlins; granddaughter: Erica (Joshua) Pickett; sister: Lois Baird; and numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation or services for Cloyd per his request. The Newcomer Funeral Home, 419-473-0300) assisted the family with professional services.
