Clifford J. Mcgaughey, Sr.

Clifford J. McGaughey, Sr., age 64, of Toledo, passed away Sunday, November 13, 2016 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center with his loving daughter, Tonie by his side. He was born on May 19, 1952 to James McGaughey and Ida Mae Harris in Toledo. Clifford grew up his entire life in Toledo, attending Scott High School. He was a member of the Upper Room Tabernacle Church. Clifford was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and uncle who will be deeply missed by those who knew him. He was a hardworking man that loved to sing, cook, and dance.

Clifford is survived by his loving children, Clifford Jr., Barbara, Tonie and Jason (Tawanna) McGaughey; their mother, Deborah McGaughey; mother, Ida Mae Harris; siblings, Violet McGaughey, Debbie Harris and Larry (Janice) Harris; grandchildren, Damon Jr., Diamond, Brittany, D'Antaye, Jayla, Teriana, Jason II, Jashon, Wisdom, Knowledge, Jedaiah, Jael; great-grandchildren, Terrance and Londynn.

The family will receive guests on Saturday, November 19, 2016 from 3 – 4:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) with Funeral Services beginning at 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor Danny E. Ransey.
