Clella I. Scheibenzuber

Clella I. Scheibenzuber, age 79, passed peacefully in her home with Hospice of Hillsdale and her family by her side on Thursday, January 10, 2013.
Clella was born in Dundee, MI to Benjamin and Hazel (Mills) Harrison on November 24, 1933. She graduated from DeVilbiss High School and Mary Manse College in Toledo. Clella was a dietician at St. Luke's Hospital for over30 years, retiring November 30, 1995. She married Joe Scheibenzuber on September 6, 1958 and he preceded her in death on December 28, 2006.
Preceding Clella in death are her husband; parents; infant son, Joe Jr.; daughter, Katie Hughes and brother, Bill Harrison. She is survived by her daughter, Karin (Jerry) Austin; son-in-law, Mike Hughes; grandchildren, Bri, C.J. and Cadin Austin; Joey and Ben Hughes; three sisters, Norma Beaver, Francis (Bill) Scheuerman and Judy Schroder. One brother, Joe (Pam) Harrison; many nieces, nephews and life long friends.
The family will receive guests on Monday, January 14, 2013 from 3-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin in the funeral home Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
