Claude "Mike" Ponton, age 56, of Maumee, Ohio passed away November 24, 2016 at St. Luke's Hospital. He was born May 25, 1960 in Toledo to C Robert and Margaret (Weis) Ponton. Mike enjoyed fishing and auto restoration.
Mike is survived by his parents, C Robert and Margaret Ponton; sister, Dianne (Brian) Sheets; niece, Tiffanny (Aaron) Fisher; nephew, Britton (Joanne Stasa) Brainard; great-nephews, Colin Myerholtz, Brenden Myerholtz and Chase Fisher; and great-niece, Marie Brainard. Mike was preceded in death by his grandparents.
A Celebration of Mike's Life will be held Sunday, December 4, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the American Legion Post 320, 204 Illinois Ave, Maumee, Ohio. Please bring photos and stories to share.
