Clare Mae German, 84, passed away surrounded by her loved ones on September 4th, 2011. She was born on October 23rd, 1926 in Memphis, TN to the late Albert and Sophia Spath.
Clare will be remembered for her cheerful and outgoing personality. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially cooking big meals for everyone during the holidays. Clare and her husband, who she affectionately called, "Ricardo", loved to travel together. Their travels included many places all over the United States and through Europe. Clare was a Hearing Technician for TPS for several years. In later years she also worked at the Toledo Edison Federal Credit Union.
Left to cherish Clare's memory is her loving husband of over 60 years, Richard; daughters, Susan (Michael) Kern, Carol German; grandchildren, Christopher (Rachel), Nicholas, Kimberly and Patrick Kern and Matthew and Jeffery German-Lortie and many other family members and friends.
Per her wishes, private family services were held.
Memorial Donations may be made in Clare's name to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
