Clara Bolfa of Toledo, Ohio passed away September 22, 2009. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on November 8, 1929. She graduated from Clay High School in 1948. Clara was a devoted wife and loving mother to her husband and nine boys. She loved preparing big Sunday dinners for her children, grand children and family and friends. And taking care of her many many beloved customers she had at Beltone Hearing Aids over the past 30 years. Clara was the first female salesperson in Beltone's history when she started in the early 1970's.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Jacob and Amelia Miller; sister, Frances (Frank) Bolfa and their two sons Thomas and Jimmy Bolfa and grandson Matthew. Her birth parents Peter and Clara Mies, sisters, Virginia and Grace and brothers, Bill and Ralph. Clara is survived by her brother, Jim (Ruth) Mies; niece, Ann Bryant (Gary);her children, Garald, Sr. (Barb), Randy, Dennis, David (Chris), Darell, Daniel and Mark (Julie); her grand children, Tammy (Chris), Garald Jr. (Christine), John (Debbie), Chris (Michelle), Corrissa, Anthony, Michael, (Tammy), Melissa, (Mario), Jennifer (Bill), Ryan and Darell, Jr., Jonathan, (Elissa), Jason (Angie) Nicole (Mark); her great grand children, Nicholas, Breana, Tiara, Joshua, John Jr., Daryl, Zachary, Jacob, Meranda Selena, Laura, Blake, Kayla, Brayden, Chase, Julia and Jada; special friends, Karen Ahl and Jane (Babe) Ogle
The family will receive guests Sunday from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). A Scripture Service will begin at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will begin Monday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral followed by a Mass or Resurrection at 11:00 a.m. at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 530 Clark St., Toledo. Interment will follow in St. Ignatius Cemetery, Oregon, Ohio.
