Cindy S. Messenger

Cindy S. Messenger, age 56, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, September 8, 2013 in her home. She was born on May 16, 1957 to Wesley and Jeanette (Brouillard) Harris in Toledo. Cindy loved to cook and dance. She enjoyed taking motorcycle rides and was an avid cat lover; even breeding them in the past. Cindy loved nothing more than the time spent with her family and grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Cindy is survived by her loving children, Nicole, Patrick and Ryan (Lisa) Messenger; companion, Bill Kunkle; grandchildren, Devon, McKenna, Karlie, Taylor, Bailey and Isaiah; brothers, Michael (Debra) and Dennis Harris; and many other family members and dear friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the love of her life of 30 years, husband, Gordon Messenger and brother, Patrick Harris.

The family will receive guests on Friday from 2 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Entombment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
