Cindy M. Couture

Cindy M. Couture, age 57, of Toledo, passed away from injuries sustained in a tragic auto accident. She was born on August 30, 1957 in Taft, California to Lorne F. and Norma Jean (McKnight) Hume. Cindy married Donald "Coutch" Couture on June 15, 1983 in Toledo, Ohio and he survives. Cindy's true passion was caring for her family and spending time with her precious grandchildren. She was a gifted gardener, especially vegetable and flower gardening.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 30 years, Donald "Coutch" Couture; daughter, Jennifer (Jerry Watkins) Couture; step-children, Michelle Couture, Donald D. Couture, II, Lori Couture (Patty Deck) and Sherry Henry; grandchildren, Makayla, Ashlee, Brooklynn and one expected grandchild in the late summer; siblings, Richard (Kitty) Hume, Carolyn Hume-Ranville, Kathleen Dobbs, Lorne (Monica) Hume and Mildred Hume; lifelong best friend, Beth (Mel) Poulson, Jim (Dottie) Thompson, Jim (Faye) White and Sonny (Jackie) Schamel; nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). A Sharing of Memories will begin in the funeral home on Tuesday at 6:00 p.m.
