Churton Budd

Churton Alexander Budd, age 52 passed peacefully on October 6, 2016.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Terry Budd (Dorfmeister); daughters, Alysse and Brianna Budd; parents; Drs Neilma Budd and Geoffrey Colin Budd; sister, Philippa Morgan (Budd); brothers, Stephen and Benjamin and many other family members.

Churton was born in London, England on November 24, 1963. He came to the U.S. in 1966. Churton attended BGSU and majored in Biology and later finished his degree at UT. During that time he worked as a volunteer firefighter. His professions included paramedic, ER Nurse, and Systems and Clinical Analyst. Churton was an active member of the Toledo Disaster Management Team (DMAT-1). He was Deputy Commander and Commander from the late 90's through 2004. The team was sent to a number of national disasters to provide a field hospital and other medical assistance.

The family will receive guests from 4-8:00 p.m. on Monday, October 10, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). The Rosary service will begin at 7:00 p.m. A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Church, 4201 Heatherdowns Blvd.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Churton's memory to: The Sparrow's Nest or the American Red Cross.
