Christy June Pier

Christy June "Chris" Pier, age 53, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 8, 2018. She was born on April 7, 1965 to Charles and June (Myrice) Lowe in Toledo. Chris was a fork lift operator at Hinkle Manufacturing for 20 years. Chris was never short on words and was devoted to her family, especially her grandchildren, Addison, Antonio and Madison. She was huge Green Bay Packers fan and her presence made her the center of attention at every gathering.

Left to cherish her memory daughter, Cassie Pier (Chip); wife, Beverly Thompson; grandchildren, Addison, Antonio and Madison; siblings, Frank (Sharon) Lowe, Arthur (Abby) Lowe and Theresa Lowe; many nieces, nephews, friends and a host of co-workers. She was preceded in death by her parents.

The family will receive guests on Monday, November 12, 2018 from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home - Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Her Funeral Service will begin in the funeral home on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice or to American Heart Association.
