Christy Lynn Brown Ahleman-Darmofal, forever age 49, gained her wings unexpectedly, but peacefully in her home on Wednesday, January 13, 2021. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, niece and aunt. Known for her chatty nature and heart of gold, Christy will truly be missed by many and will never be forgotten. Christy's passion for her family will keep us strong during this difficult time. We were truly blessed to have had the time with this "Wonder Woman". Christy was a proud graduate of Rogers High School. She loved caring for her cats and studying our family heritage.
Christy was born on April 26, 1971 to Lewis and Vicki Brown of Toledo. In her departure, she leaves behind her loving husband, Alan Darmofal; and daughter, Lyndsey Anne Ahleman; loving siblings, Steve (Barb) Brown, Jeff (Jodi) Brown, and Kelly (James) Tracy; uncles, Terry (Colleen) Sanford, Charles Sanford, Randy (Tammy) Sanford, and Robert Sanford; Fathers-in-law, Edward (Rosalie) Darmofal and Alan Ahleman; sisters-in-law, Michele (Andrew) Palmer, and Sandy (Eric) Baumgartner; brothers-in-law, Kevin (Julie) Darmofal, and Loren (Mila) Darmofal; loving aunt to nieces and nephews, Steven Brown II, Shelby Brown (Zach Wood), Calihan and Piper Logan, Gavin Tracy, Gavin Palmer, Logan Darmofal, Nicholas, Drew, and Dylan Baumgartner, Brock, Reegan, Zurie, and Isabelle Sanford; great-nephew, Jaxon Cody Wood; and best friend who will always be a part of the family, Matea Anderson.
Christy was preceded in death by her daughter, Briana Kay Ahleman; and 1st husband, Greg Ahleman; uncle, Rick Sanford; brother-in-law, Bruce Ahleman; mother-in-law, Sandy Ahleman; nephews, Cody Brown and Garrett Baumgartner.
Family and friends may gather at Christ the King Church, 4100 Harvest Ln, Toledo, Ohio 43623, Monday, January 25, 2021, from 9:00 am – 10:00 am, where a funeral mass will take place at 10:00 am.
