Christopher James Mays, age 40, passed this life on September 30, 2015.
He is survived by his wife, Tanisha "Tiny" Purley Mays; his parents, James and Patricia Mays Nashville, TN; sister, LaTrice Mays Nashville, TN; his special nieces and nephews James Cameron Mays, Jenice Noelle Mays, Jala Lynn Mays, Nashville, TN. Goddaughter Cedria Jaynes and a host of other Godchildren. His in-laws, Arthinia and Blanton Thompson. His sister in-laws Niecy, Marie (Juan), Vanissha (deceased) (Mark). Brother in-laws James, John, Butchie (Tameka), special brother in-law Burt (Liz).
He is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and loving relatives including Godmother Mary Byrd; Brandon (Bethany) Oden; Andrew and Avery Haynes; Kevin Mays; Kimberly Mays; LaJoyce "Juicy" Hutton ; ShaRhonda Purley and was preceded in death by his dear uncle Raymond Dwight Oden. Special friends Demetrius "Meme" Flowers (Selina); Mark (Alisha) Canty; Peaches, Ruthanne and Stevie Foster.
The family will receive guests from 9-10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). The Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 a.m.
Officiating Bishop Randall Parker III.
