Christopher David Alford, age 33, of Lambertville, passed away August 31, 2020. Christopher was born June 19, 1987 in Toledo to David and Joan (Supinski) Alford. He was a graduate of Bedford High School and went on to work with Gerdau Steel.
Christopher was an avid bowler, something he did from an early age. He belonged to many leagues and was a regular at Jugg's Bowling Center showing the crowds how to bowl a "Perfect Game". And that he did, several times leaving his family and friends in awe of his skills. One of those 300 scoring games was done at the same time his Dad bowled a 299 so that talent ran in the family.
Christopher was a fan of the Atlanta Braves and the University of Michigan Wolverines. He enjoyed camping, snowmobiling and 4-wheeling. Christopher also enjoyed traveling anywhere he could do these activities whether it was going up North in Michigan or Pennsylvania. Christopher also spent time on canoe trips and attending Country Concerts to listen to his favorite Country Artists. Many trips were also made to Vegas for some great times.
Family and friends were important to Christopher. He touched many with his warm smile, his contagious laughter and the kindness he showed to everyone he came into contact with. He was excited to be an uncle and couldn't wait to be a Dad to his first child, his baby-girl Kennedy who will arrive into this world in October.
Christopher was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ralph and Helen Alford and Richard Supinski; uncle, Ray Alford and cousins, David Martin and Mike Garcia.
He is survived by his parents, David and Joan Alford; significant other, Jessica Cantrell and their soon-to-be-born daughter, Kennedy; sister, Amanda (Josh) Kase and their son, Liam; grandmother, Joan Supinski; aunts & uncles, Rick (Sherry) Supinski, Lenore Supinski, Tom (Karen) Supinski, Ken Supinski, Karen (Tony Bugaj) Supinski, Jayme Supinski, Rennee (Tim) Martin, Anne Supinski, Greg Supinski, Becky Supinski, Andrew Supinski and Nicole (Gary) Quinn; Barb Kurth, Terry (Char) Alford, Nancy (Jerry) Stevens, Linda (Bobby) Kobold and Robert Alford. Also cherishing his memory are numerous cousins and dear friends.
The family will receive guests Tuesday, September 8, 2020 from 4-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, NW Chapel, (419-473-0300).
