Christine Williams

Christine "Chris" Williams, age 71, of Sylvania, Ohio passed away on August 1, 2022. She wintered in Lady Lake, Florida, where she loved getting dressed up and going out with her friends to all of the social events at The Villages. She summered at Bird Lake in Osseo, MI where she enjoyed the view. She also enjoyed crafting and shopping. Chris loved to spend time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, they were the light of her life.

Chris was preceded in death by her parents, Earthel and Grace Cox; first husband, Bob Williams, Sr.; daughter, Grace Sloan; brother, Stan Cox; and second husband, David Massie. Left to cherish Chris' memory are her son, Bob (Angela) Williams, Jr.; grandchildren, Tim, Zach, Tiffany, Brianna, James, and Josh; 11 great-grandchildren; siblings, Jim, Jerry (Edna), Linda (Rob), and Ray (Marie); sister-in-law, Jenise; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive guests on Monday, August 8, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home – Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) with Funeral Services beginning at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will immediately follow at Toledo Memorial Park.
