Christine "Chris" Koperski, 62, of Toledo, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 25, 2021. Chris was born on August 5, 1958 in Northwood, OH.
She attended Northwood High School, graduating in the class of 1976. After graduation, in 1978 she went to work for Jeep in Toledo where she met her husband, Gerald "Jerry" Koperski. They were married on May 3, 1985. Chris made a career working at Jeep, making many great lifelong friends, while serving the Jeep facility for 31 years, retiring in 2009.
After retirement in 2009, Chris enjoyed her free time with her late husband working in the yard or on projects around the house, while always taking her time to enjoy a cold Bud Light. Chris loved her family especially being a grandmother. She loved going to the Toledo Zoo or to the park to enjoy quality time.
Surviving are her children, Joshua (Toni) Koperski and Jennifer Koperski; and 3 grandchildren, Kaden Koperski, Alexander Moccabee, and McKenzie Yglesias.
Chris was preceded in death by her parents, June and Jimmy Kohn and husband, Gerald "Jerry" Koperski.
Upon Christine's request there will be no services held for her passing. If you would like to honor Chris, please do so by donating to the local dog shelter, for she loved her dogs just as much as she did her family.
