Christine Ann Rydman
January 29, 1951- January 13, 2015

After a concentrated battle with cancer, Christine Ann Rydman passed away on January 13, 2015 in Toledo, OH at the age of 63. She leaves behind her husband, Fred; daughter, Ashley; grandchildren, Jade and Jack, as well as her sisters, Karon Zulewski and Dena Sabean; her brother, Chuck Cousino; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; Carl and Beth Cousino and her daughter Sarah, who died in infancy.

Christine was born on January 29, 1951 in Monroe, MI to Carl and Beth Cousino, who preceded her in death. She grew up in a loving family with two sisters and one brother. Christine attended St. Mary's High School graduating in 1969, attended Monroe County Community College receiving an associate's degree two years later. While getting her degree, she worked and continued to work at the County of Monroe in the Finance Department for 33 years, retiring in February 2005.

"Chritty" was a loving wife, mother and Nana with a love of reading, going "out and about" and everything family. When suddenly diagnosed with brain cancer in October 2014, she remained dedicated to her family until she was unable to fight her illness. She remained a brave, optimistic, loving woman, even through her final months.

The family will receive guests on Monday, January 19, 2015 from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin in the funeral home on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at 10:00 a.m.

The family would especially like to thank the staff and doctors at The Hickman Cancer Center for their constant, positive, attentive treatment, the team at Ebeid Hospice for the constant care and support in her last days and Newcomer Funeral Home, for making the arrangements after her passing.
