Christina J. Wertz, age 72, of Toledo, passed away March 11, 2021 at Randall Residence, Fremont, OH. She was born April 19, 1948 in Toledo to Lee and Betty (Bucher) Wertz. Christina was a devoted member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church, where she was very active.
Christina is survived by her siblings, Betty Miller, LeRoy Wertz, Linda McIntosh, Arnold Howell and Ronnie Howell and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Christina was preceded in death by her son, Joseph Wertz and brother, Billy Howell.
The family will receive guests Tuesday, March 16, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Newcomer - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens.
