Cheryl Anne Saxton, born on August 25, 1960, in Chicago, Illinois, passed away on March 4, 2025, in Toledo, Ohio. Cheryl's life was defined by her kindness and warmth, creating a welcoming space for all who crossed her path. She was known for her spirited personality, infused with a great sense of humor, although she often playfully disapproved of her husband Don's jokes.
Cheryl’s love for arts and crafts blossomed into a passion for diamond painting, an endeavor that brought her immense joy. Alongside her husband, Donald "Don" Saxton, whom she cherished for eleven beloved years, she cultivated numerous interests. The couple enjoyed engaging in trivia and were known for their remarkable knowledge and skills, often delighting in their successes during quiz competitions like Cash Cab. Together, they shared a love for flea marketing, with particular fondness for the Shipshewana Trading Place in Indiana, where they spent many happy days exploring treasures.
Cheryl’s family meant the world to her. She was immensely proud of her children: Mark Bueter and his significant other, Deanna Tracey; Bill Bueter; Jennifer Andrews; and Bobbie Bueter; as well as her grandchildren, Tyson, Vincent, Roman, and Elena. Her devotion extended to her extended family, including her sister Pam North, step sister, Edina Roberts, brother-in-law Jason Saxton and his wife Angela, brother-in-law Jerry Saxton and his wife Jenny, brother-in-law Chet Saxton, her extended DePew family, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives who will deeply miss her.
Cheryl's legacy of love, humor, and dedication to family will be commemorated during visitation on March 16, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service starting at 2:00 PM, both held at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Toledo, located at 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd, Toledo, OH 43614.
Cheryl Anne Saxton will be remembered not only for her feisty spirit and talents but also for the love she generously shared with her family and friends, enriching their lives in countless ways.
