Cheryl Marie Bussdieker, age 58, of Perrysburg, left to be with her Lord on August 3, 2014. She was born on April 19, 1956 to Jerry and Karine "Kay" Bussdieker in Toledo, Ohio.
Cheryl worked for many years as a Registered Nurse, most recently at Nursing Resources. She had also worked at Visiting Nurse Service and Flower Hospital. Cheryl was an active member and Sunday School Teacher at St. Lucas Lutheran Church on Frank and Walbridge in South Toledo. Most important to Cheryl was her time spent with her family. She especially loved being with her nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews to whom she was like a second mother.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her father, Jerry; step-father, Lester; best friend, Kathy Ruhm. Left to cherish her memory is her mother, Kay; siblings, Jerry (Debbie), Eric (Shirley), Trish Mattimoe; brother-in-law, Mike Mattimoe; special nieces and nephews, Jason, Joshua, Jeremiah, Adam, Katie and Jessie and many great-nieces and nephews.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Cheryl's life on Sunday August 10, at St. Lucas Lutheran Church from 1-3pm with services beginning at 3pm.
The family requests memorial donations be made to: St. Lucas Lutheran Church, 745 Walbridge, Toledo, Ohio 43609.
