Cheryl A. Jaworski, age 58, of Toledo, passed away on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Ebeid Hospice Residence in Sylvania where she was surrounded by her family. She was born on January 8, 1956 in Toledo to James and Marie (Stickles) Zimmerman-Meade. Cheryl was a 1975 graduate of Whitney Vocational High School, following high school she worked as an aide at Flower Hospital. In previous years she was involved with the Meals on Wheels program in Elmore. She was very involved with the Red Hat Society, serving as the Queen for one term. Some of Cheryl's interests and hobbies were paper crafting, especially stamping and scrapbooking; collecting Precious Moments and dolls. Most important to her was caring for her family.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 38 years, Terry A. Jaworski; Jason (Kathy) Jaworski and Matthew Jaworski; granddaughter, Izabel Jaworski; mother, Marie Meade; siblings, Sue (Bruce) Winne and Robert (Susie) Zimmerman; mother in law, Dorothy Jaworski; brothers and sisters in law, Larry (Debby) Jaworski, Karen Wright and Bonnie Bell; beloved dog, Toby; many loving extended family including cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her father; step-father, Melvin Meade and father in law, Henry Jaworski.
The family will receive guests on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin in the funeral home on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at 10:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Northwest Ohio or to Promedica Ebeid Hospice.
