Charlotte Sue Gorrell

Charlotte Sue Gorrell, age 84, of Toledo, passed away Thursday, March 12, 2015 at St. Anne's Mercy Hospital. She was born on July 22, 1930 to Harsie Brown in Carter County, Tennessee. Sue was a member of Central Park Congregational Church for over 40 years. She was an avid reader and collected coins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Gorrell; brother, Blain "Bud" Brown; sisters, Mrs. Dixie Livingston and Mrs. Helen Oliver.
Sue is survived by her brother, Robert "Blue" (Gail) Bowers; loving daughter, Billie J. (Donald) Cox; grandchildren, Donald, Douglas, Dean and Kelsey; and great-grandchildren.
The family will receive guests on Thursday from 12:00 – 1:30 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) with Funeral Services beginning at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
Those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider a charity of the donor's choice.
