Charlotte Mayo

Charlotte "Char" B. Mayo, age 68, of Lambertville, MI, passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2007 in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 19, 1938 to Arno and Eva (Sato) Clabaugh in Toledo. Char was a longtime member of the Sylvania Moose Lodge #1579, the U.S. Humane Society and the World Wildlife Federation. She cherished the time spent camping at Pirolli Park for over 20 years with her family. Char was an avid bowler, enjoyed playing cards and gambling and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Dorothy Mayo and her "Star" puppy, Samantha Morningstar. Char is survived by her loving husband of almost 47 years on February 27th, 2007, William "Bill" Mayo; children: Mark (Jill) Mayo, Denice (David) Easton and Michael (Diana) Mayo; grandchildren: Autumn, Shannan, Justin, Zachary and Lucas; great-granddaughter: Taylor; brothers: Arno, Art (Pat), Kenny and Roger Clabaugh; and sisters: Evelyn Davis and Janice Watkins.

The family will receive guests on Saturday, January 27, 2007 in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300) from 5 – 8:00 p.m. Memorial Services will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Rev. Dennis Lauman.
