Charles W. Straub, Jr.

Charles W. "Chuckie" Straub, Jr., age 39, of Toledo, passed away unexpectedly, Monday, September 19, 2011. He was born on March 19, 1972 to Charles W. and Mary L. (Meadows) Straub, Sr. in Toledo. Chuckie worked in the construction business for many years. He loved to cook, work in the yard and do woodworking. Chuckie was a people person; he enjoyed being around them, having get togethers and spending time with his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his sister, Kimberley Straub, grandmother, Mary Inez and some other family members. Chuckie is survived by his wife of 15 years, Heather (Proshek) Straub; children, Dillon Straub, Dominick and Cortni Kertesz and Dakota Straub; father, Charles W. Straub, Sr.; step-mother, Cindy Clements; siblings, Donald (Linda) Straub, Sheila (Bob Ritter) Straub, Sherry (Greg Altman) Straub, Levi Straub, Emmagene Straub and Joshua Straub; father and mother-in-law, Marty (Brenda) Proshek; best friend and "brother", Robert Sapp; nieces and nephews, Renee, DJ, Justin, Ashlee, Stephanie, Greg, Brandon, Crystal, Brittany, Kersten, Kelsey and Kayla; and many great-nieces, great-newphews, cousins and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Sunday from 1 – 6:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900) with Funeral Services beginning at 6:00 p.m.
