Charles C. Smith

Charles C. "Charlie" Smith, age 61, of Maumee, passed away unexpectedly December 19, 2019. He was born August 16, 1958 in Oregon, OH to Charles and Esther (Pierson) Smith. Charlie was employed with Fleetpride for more than 42 years as a Salesman. He enjoyed riding his Harley and driving his corvette. Most importantly, Charlie loved spending time with his family and friends.

Charlie is survived by his wife, Barb Smith; daughters, Ashleigh (Chad) Kimmet, Carleigh Smith and Kelsey (Chad) Zeiter; step-daughters, Tori Buckenberger and Erin Buckenberger; 7 grandchildren; sisters, Robin (Timothy) Christman and Lori (Timothy) Lewallen; father-in-law, Edward Schumacher and mother-in-law, Jeannine Rogerson.

The family will receive guests Thursday, December 26, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at Newcomer - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Thursday at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
