Charles S. Round

Charles S. "Charlie" Round, age, 89, of Toledo, passed away Sunday, October 18, 2015 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. He was born on October 10, 1926 to Robert and Ethel (Zeigler) Round in Toledo. Charlie was a graduate of Whitmer High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Charlie worked at Libbey Glass for over 40 years before retiring. He was a jack of all trades and loved woodworking; he was a very generous neighbor and friend.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Eva (Burnside) Round; and brothers, Robert and William Round. Charlie is survived by his loving children, Diann Sokolowski, Steven Round, Deborah (Bill) Young and Tracy (Steve) Gray; grandchildren, Roseanna and Charles Sokolowski, Samuel (Tiffany) Young, Sarah (Jeremiah) Wall and Stephen Gray; and 8 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive guests on Sunday from 12 – 2:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) with Memorial Services beginning at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
