Charles D. "Dave" Newton, age 79, passed away on December 13, 2014. He was born on June 11, 1935 to the late Zeylah and John Newton in Findlay, Ohio.
Dave graduated from DeVilbiss High School and Davis College. He retired from Helm Instrument in 2009. Dave was a member of Westside Community Church. He was an accomplished accordion player.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of almost 43 years, Linda; daughter, Richelle (Michael) Majewski; son, Anthony "Tony"; sister, Nancy (Robert) Michalak; mother-in-law, Jane Meyer; grandchildren, Tony Newton Jr. and Preston Majewski and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive guests from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). The Funeral Service will begin at 4:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: The Cherry Street Mission.
