Charles N. Farmer, 59, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2012 at the Toledo Hospital. He was born on February 18, 1953 to Zola and Benny Joe Famer in Bluefield, West Virginia.
Charles was a Steel Salesman at Ottawa River Steel, Dora Steel and Target Steel for many years. He always enjoyed his job, especially meeting new people and the relationships he built with them. Charles enjoyed Nascar and drag-racing.
Charles was preceded in death by his father, Benny Joe. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 12 years, Jackie; step-daughter, Shanna (Harold) Champnoise; mother, Zola; sister, Marianne (Charles) Burkett; step-grandsons, Hayden and Travis Champnoise; nephews, Maxwell and Jackson Burkett and many dear friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday at the First Congregational Church, 2315 Collingwood Blvd. at 6:00 p.m. Pastor Larry Vriezelaar officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
