Charles Miller

Charles A. Miller, age 73, of Waterville, passed away March 4, 2015 at his home . Charles was born November 15, 1941 in Sylvania to George and Alma (Wingert) Miller. He was employed with the Chrysler/Jeep Corporation for more than 39 years before retiring. He was a member of the Sportsman's Flying Association/A.U. pigeon club and Moose Lodge 1579. Charles was an avid gardener and had a great love for animals. He also coached baseball, football and softball for Sylvania Schools and was a Scout Master for Troop 116.

In addition to his parents, Charles was also preceded in death by sisters Arvilla (Ray) Allen, Shirley (Bill) Frankhauser and Joy (George) Semelka.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Elaine Wood-Miller, son, Gail (Kathleen) Miller, Terry (Dawn) Miller, Mike Wood and Jeff (Leslie) Wood, daughters, Dawn (Tom) Bloomer and Cindy Wood, sisters, Lola Miller and Georganna (Marvin) Alexander, brother, George (Joyce) Miller, seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews in the Sylvania area.

The family will receive guests Monday, March 9, 2015 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - NW Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Tuesday at 10:30 am. in the funeral home.
