Charles J. Johnson age 75 of Maumee, Ohio passed away unexpectedly in his home on February 19, 2025. He was born in Toledo on October 24, 1949 to Charles and Angela (Jenson) Johnson.

Chuck was employed at 7-Up for 40 years. He loved and cherished his grandkids. He always felt he had the best kids and the most beautiful wife. Chuck was a Mopar enthusiast. His favorites quotes were “Go catch fireflies on the turnpike” and “This isn’t the YMCA”. He had many friends and loved by so many. He will be deeply missed.

Surviving is his wife, Sandra Johnson; children, Craig Johnson, Amy (Ross) Yuse, Neil (Izzy) Johnson and Kelly Whitacre; grandchildren, Allison, Andrea, Craigie, Eddie (Meagan), Alex, Adelaide, Eloise, Roxanne and Teagan; 4 great-grandchildren; brothers, William (Debbie) Johnson and George Johnson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Ruth.

Family and friends will be received at the Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo on Friday, February 28, 2025 from 2:00-4:00 PM. Services will begin immediately after visitation at 4:00 PM.
