Charles J. Hartford, Sr.

Charles "Chuck" J. Hartford, Sr., age 50, of Holland, Ohio passed away Thursday, March 14, 2013 due to complications after surgery at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. He was born February 7, 1963 in Toledo to Lawrence and Effie Hartford. Chuck was employed as a truck driver for ABC Supply, retiring in 2006. He was an avid fisherman, but the greatest joy of his life was spending time with his family, especially his children.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 21 years, Joyce (Lemle) Hartford; children, C.J., Jr., Mac, Travis and Mallori Hartford; siblings, Sandra Hartford, Patricia (Sam) Lenix and Joseph (Rufena) Hartford; many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. In addition to his parents, Chuck was preceded in death by his nephew, Joey Hartford.

The family will receive guests Monday, March 18, 2013 from 12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Springfield Township Hall, 7617 Angola Road, Holland, Ohio 43528. In lieu of flowers, please consider the family when making a memorial donation.
