Charles S. Hackney, age 67, of Toledo, passed away November 6, 2015 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. Charles was born December 20, 1947 in Toledo to Sam and Patricia (Wood) Hackney.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, brother, David Hackney, and sister, Cindy Hackney. He is survived by his sons; Michael Hackney and Samuel Hackney, grandchildren; Kaitin A. Luther and Amelia G. Hackney, siblings; Terry Hackney, Steve Hackney, Debra Sizemore, Carl Hackney, Pamela Ford, Tina Sobczak, and Wendy Koepfer, and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive guests Friday, November 13, 2015 from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - NW Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. 419-473-0300. Memorial Services will begin Friday at 3:00 pm. at the funeral home.
