Charles F. Mikesell Jr.

Charles F. Mikesell, Jr. age 72, of Toledo, Ohio passed away August 15, 2014 at Lutheran Village at Wolf Creek, surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 13, 1942 in Toledo, Ohio to Charles and Dolores (Jarvis) Mikesell. Chuck was self-employed with Capri Industrial Products. He was a parishioner of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. Chuck was a past member of the Riverview School Board, and president of the Riverview Athletic Booster Club, where he was inducted into the Riverview Hall of Fame. Chuck enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He coached many different sports, and an avid spectator especially when it involved his grandchildren.

Chuck is survived by his wife of 49 years, Patricia A. (Scanlan) Mikesell; children, Anne M. (Jayson) Pippin, George J. (Cathy) Mikesell, Timothy J. (Amy McCarty) Mikesell, Charles F. Mikesell, Elizabeth M. (Robert) Taylor, John P. (Mary) Mikesell, Joseph H. Mikesell and Mary K. Mikesell; grandchildren, Emily, Allison, Henry, Megan, Bo, Lauren, Grace, Lexi, Jackson, Emma, Brianna, Jules, and Maggie; sister, Susan (Richard) Rizzuto.

The family will receive guests Sunday, August 17, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900) where a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, August 18, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Joan of Arc Church, 5856 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo, Ohio 43614 please meet directly at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Organization of Rare Diseases (N.O.R.D.) for multiple system atrophy, www.rarediseases.org in Chuck's memory.
